How does the free trial work?

What counts as a voucher credit?

One voucher credit is consumed when one final reviewable voucher is created. Failed, unreadable and duplicate inputs are not charged; editing, categorising, Tally push retries, undo and re-push do not consume another credit. A split that creates additional vouchers consumes one credit per additional voucher.

How long are voucher credits valid?

Voucher credits are valid for 1 year from purchase. Each additional plan purchase creates a separate credit batch with its own 1-year validity.

Can I upgrade my plan mid-way?

Yes. A higher plan is charged at its current catalog or promotional price. Your existing voucher-credit batches remain available until their own expiry, and the new plan credits receive a fresh 1-year validity.

What happens when I run out of voucher credits?

Accepted Answer

Buy a plan again — any plan at or above the one you are on. The new credits arrive as their own batch with a fresh 1-year validity, and any credits you still hold keep their original expiry. Credits are always spent oldest-expiry-first, so nothing is wasted. (A lower plan cannot replace a higher one while its credits remain.)

When does the active plan offer end?

The plan offer is valid through 31 December 2026 (India time). After that, checkout automatically returns to the regular plan price.

Do I pay extra for the Chrome extension?

Accepted Answer

No. The Google Chrome extension is included. It connects the web application to Tally running on the same Windows computer.

Is there a long-term contract or lock-in?

Accepted Answer

No. Plans are one-time prepaid purchases, not subscriptions. No auto-renewal, no cancellation fees.
