Delete your account

Accountant users and client-portal users can delete their own login from the web or Android beta. The exact result depends on the account type, and records that must be retained for legal or financial obligations are minimised as described in our Privacy Policy.

Delete from the app

  1. Sign in to your accountant account.
  2. Go to Settings, then the Security tab.
  3. In the Danger Zone, click Delete Account.
  4. Confirm with your password. A passwordless Google account confirms with a one-time email code.

Delete a client-portal account

Sign in to the client portal and go to Settings. Under “Delete portal account”, confirm with your portal password. The portal login is deactivated and identifying profile fields are removed. Documents and accounting records already shared with the CA firm remain subject to that firm's retention duties.

Delete from the web

Sign in at Your AI Accountant, go to Settings → Security → Danger Zone, and click Delete Account. This provides the same authenticated deletion process as Android.

Cannot access your account?

Email youraiaccountant@taxoneadvisory.com from your registered address. We will verify ownership before acting on a deletion request. You can request account closure, irreversible personal-data erasure, or both.

Account deletion and personal-data erasure are different controls. Erasure is irreversible and may retain only minimised records required by law. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
